2024-2025碩士雙聯學位申請資訊 Application Info

申請資格：政大資管系碩士班在籍學生，且預計於2024年7月(112-2學期)以前完成所有課程修習條件與論文口試(Final Defense)。若最終無法於2024年7月以前完成學位論文口試(Final Defense)，則錄取資格恐被撤銷。學生若維持政大在學生身分前往，政大需付註冊費，Purdue需付部分學分費與雜費。政大商學院另有雙聯學位獎學金可供在學生申請。
申請時間：即日起至2023/11/24 (星期五) 下午5點前
繳交文件：

1. NCCU MIS & Purdue BAIM雙聯學位申請表

2. 112-1政大在學證明【登入iNCCU→學生資訊系統→在學證明線上列印】(本學期休學者，請提供休學證明)

3. 大學部與碩士班歷年成績單（英文）【請至教務處申請正本】

21. > 2.4 GPA for STEM degrees, > 2.6 for non-STEM degrees，強烈建議>3，>3.5佳。

4. TOEFL or IELTS or Duolingo「兩年內」(Purdue系統申請截止日往前推算兩年) 之英文能力成績單影本，如未及時收到成績單正本可檢附網路成績查詢頁面。如尚未取得成績，請說明預計取得成績時間，需不晚於Purdue系統申請截止日。(美國公民或永久居民免此項，但須提供身分證明)

21. Purdue商學院共同門檻為TOEFL-ibt 總分93分 (Writing 20, Speaking 22, Listening 18, Reading 22)，或IELTS總分7.5 (各項至少7.0)，或Duolingo總分與分項為115 (強烈建議至少125)。

5. GMAT or GRE 「五年內」(Purdue系統申請截止日往前推算五年) 之非官方網路成績單影本。如尚未取得成績，請說明預計取得成績時間，需不晚於Purdue系統申請截止日。(具兩年以上工作經驗且GPA>3.3的美國公民或永久居民免此項，但須提供相關證明)

21. GMAT 600或等值GRE為基本門檻。(過往申請人平均約680，僅供參考。)

6. 一頁Résumé。

21. 強烈建議有至少2份相關實習經歷、或至少一年的工作經驗 (非必要)。

7. Academic Statement of Purpose (2頁內)：The academic statement of purpose should not exceed two pages in length addressing the following prompts:

21. What are your professional plans and career goals? How will attending graduate school assist you in reaching those goals?
21. Describe your research, scholarly, or creative interests. What topics are of particular interest to you? Reviewers know that interests change over time but try to be as specific as possible.
21. Discuss how your experiences, skills, and abilities have prepared you for graduate study. Relevant topics may include coursework, work and research experiences, internships, presentations, exhibits, publications, and community service. If you describe a research or scholarly experience, include information on the topic, research mentor, your role, and outcomes.
21. Describe how your skills, preparation, and interests are a match for the program to which you are applying. Identify faculty who share your research and scholarly interests. Reviewers will want to know that you have researched the program, faculty, and key focus areas.

8. Personal History Statement (未規定字數，不建議過長，約1頁內)：

Required of all applicants:

21. Describe how your background and life experiences contribute to your ability to be both persistent and resourceful in graduate school.
21. Describe how your life experiences have prepared you to contribute to an academic community where scholars with diverse research interests, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences are supported, respected, and valued.

Optional:

21. Please address concerns that you may have that your academic record does not reflect your true capabilities and discuss mitigating factors that have affected your academic record. Reviewers will be interested in understanding your accomplishments relative to your opportunities.

50. 「Purdue系統申請截止日」：本年度於政大資管系收件截止後，確認獲推薦可進一步申請之同學，有機會可選擇Round 3 (12/15)、Round 4 (3/15)、或Final Round (5/1)。名額會在確認名單後通知Purdue，並告知欲正式申請的時間點，惟是否正式錄取仍須以Purdue面試後決定為主，若獲本系推薦，強烈建議申請靠前的round，始能盡早得知是否正式錄取，方便後續安排。

50. 大學以後的所有歷年成績單(英文，在Purdue正式錄取前不需要紙本)

50. 「兩年內」TOEFL或IELTS成績 (美國公民或永久居民免此項，但須提供身分證明)

旨揭「雙聯學位」僅開放資管系碩士班在籍學生申請，且學生需預計於2024年7月(112-2學期)以前完成所有課程修習條件與論文口試(Final Defense)。如獲政大資管推薦，並經過Purdue確認錄取(是否正式錄取以Purdue官方為主)，錄取同學將能獲得政大碩士學位(Master of Science in Management Information Systems or others)與Purdue碩士學位(Master of Science in Business Analytics & Information Management)雙學位。
Purdue的BAIM碩士學程為資料分析/資料科學相關領域的頂尖學程，曾受CIO Magazine評比為美國最佳資料科學學位第１名、Best-Masters.com北美商業分析與資訊管理碩士學程第１名、QS商業分析學程北美第6名、U.S. News & World Report商業分析學程全美第９名等佳績，其畢業生在180天內取得工作錄取的比率達到100%，錄取單位包括Amazon、Facebook、Microsoft、Verizon、Walmart等知名企業，表現優異。BAIM碩士學程同時也屬於STEM領域，政大雙聯同學因參與秋季與春季兩個完整學期符合STEM資格，畢業可享有美國F1學生簽證OPT時限延長資格，增加在美國找工作的優勢。
Purdue商學院(原Krannert School of Management) 已於2023年全新改制為Daniels School of Business，由學校官方全力宣傳理工與商業的整合，發揮學校強項。其中，MS BAIM為校方新聞稿提及的重點capstone學程，配合BAIM整合商業分析與資料科學或資料工程相關資源，接近100%的就業率，加上BAIM在美國以精實培育聞名業界，相信錄取同學皆能有不錯的發展前景。
美國普度大學(Purdue University)與政大資管系簽定「國際雙聯學位合作計畫」，本計畫可推薦錄取學生前往就讀，透過本計畫申請的學生可優先審核，並使用部分政大課程抵免部分Purdue學分。除節省取得雙聯學位的時間，亦能節省出國求學開銷、增加職涯發展機會。有意申請者，請於旨揭申請期限前提出申請。
申請通過之學生以自費方式前往，請有意申請的同學，儘早考取Purdue訂定的相關考試標準，以及儘早準備申請資料。受本系推薦的學生，須於Purdue網站線上完成申請手續並繳交費用，始完成申請流程。通過Purdue面試並獲正式錄取通知，始確認錄取，政大資管系無法為Purdue的錄取決定與否背書。
